Tobias Faisst is a berlin based photographer. His work focuses on product documentation and CGI CREATIVE DIRECTIOn.
Tobias Faisst is a still life and product photographer living and working in Berlin.
He graduated from Communication Design at the Fachhochschule Potsdam in 2014. Since then, he has worked in multidisciplinary artistic projects and fields such as product presentation, fashion, design, dance, e-commerce and interior photography.
To consolidate an own style requires practice, passion and constant challenge. Tobias' image conception and gaze are the fruit of a continuous search to understand, imitate, and master its medium's visual history and a fascination for light, texture, frame, and detail. These elements, combined with his idea of art and incessant reading and mapping of our present, are meant to keep the pulse of time. Thus, he manages to understand trends while exploring its limits to develop speculative and visual futures that transcend the common.
His holistic approach intertwines different disciplines and media, with photography being the centre where his pristine and minimalist aesthetic emerges and comes to life in the conception, realization and implementation of an idea. Tobias methodical approach involves extensive research, conceptual development and content creation, vital elements for the successful consecution of collaborative and multidisciplinary projects.
Design, 3D photography and CGI are not only part of his body of work but also a source of inspiration to tackle challenging projects and publications such as EIDOS and FASSADE PARADE (2017), or the recently published NEW DAWN (2020), a collaborative project bringing together 60 creatives from around the world project in different fields of visual and performative arts, graphic design, and curatorial practices, lead him to assume leadership roles.
Tobias aims for the perfect balance between creating content and placing it in a context as a processual methodology, not limited to a specific medium and part of a strong network of creatives in the commercial and cultural fields.
