: METAMORPHOSIS is a visual concept translating the stages of a butterfly’s transformation into an automotive narrative. I developed a system of kinetic sculptures and digital environments designed to evolve around the car across still and moving image.

The project began with the idea of using transformation not simply as a visual theme, but as the structure for the entire narrative. The four stages of metamorphosis — egg, caterpillar, cocoon and butterfly — became the basis for a series of bespoke sculptures, each introducing its own form, movement and relationship to the vehicle. Digital set design allowed me to treat the environment as an active part of the concept rather than a static backdrop. For the film, the sculptures were brought to life through animation and 2D motion graphics, turning the individual scenes into a continuous sequence of transformation. I developed the concept, visual direction and spatial language across both still and motion, using installation art, kinetic sculpture and graphic movement to connect the precision of automotive design with the organic idea of metamorphosis.
